Since 1910, Scouting has helped mold the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.
The Boy Scouts of America believes and, through nearly a century of experience, understands that helping youth puts us on a path toward a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
Scouting, with programs for young men and women, helps meet these six essential needs of the young people growing up in our society:

Mentoring, Lifelong Learning, Faith Traditions,Serving Others, Healthy Living, and Building Character.

Boy Scout Troop 706 meetings resume Monday, August 20th
at 7pm in the Parish Hall.

Boys new to scouting and interested families are encouraged to attend!

Troop 706 participates in many of the usual scouting activities such as camping, hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing as well as conducting many service projects with our parish and local community.  Our goal is to balance fun for the boys with development of leadership, sense of service and self-confidence.
