Located in the back acreage of the church grounds, St. Mary’s Flower Garden is a wonderful outdoor project to involve the entire family. We provide fresh flowers to adorn the altar and worship area from mid-June through mid-October, and fresh-cut bouquets are sold each weekend as a unique fundraiser for various parish projects. Flower seeds, lavender sachets and ornamental corn are sold in the fall. Special orders of flowers for private parties and weddings are accepted in advance. Volunteers are needed in the spring to prepare the garden by weeding and planting. The summer is a time of maintaining the garden by weeding, mowing, planting and harvesting.
Volunteers are needed Saturday mornings from July through October to cut and wrap the flower bouquets sold each weekend.
Fall is a time to clean up the garden and harvest the seeds for the next year.
