  • Haiti Ministry

    We are a twin parish with now three parishes in Haiti: St. John the Baptist Church, Savanette; St. Roch Parish, Guacimal; and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Bailly.  We provide financial support for student education and seminarian training; food, water, and health programs; and community projects as needed. We also support projects that assist Haitian communities in locations other than our 3 twin parishes based on urgency and need, using only donations ear-marked for those projects from contributors. The Haiti Committee has an annual sponsorship drive during Lent to provide tuition and lunch for primary school students. The Ministry meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Haiti Conference Room to discuss and initiate projects throughout the year, coordinated with the pastor of each twin parish.
