23 lb of vegetable seed packets, donated by Home Depot in October, were sent to Phequinge in Savanette who distributed them to local farmers. This is the third year that Wendy Silverman, Ag Extension Agent in Christiansburg worked with Dick Neves to pick from unsold seeds donated by Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and other businesses in the NRV.
